Record
Save the old URL, final URL, saved option, current visible options, check date, and the fact that medium was not observable.
Routine · One row at a time
Finish one traceable note before expanding the list.
Before step one
Four-step routine
Stop when a required detail is missing. An unresolved note is safer than a confident guess.
Confirm the final page is relevant to the intended item.
Compare size, color, version, or other visible labels.
Describe only what the current page or image supports.
Keep it as ready, parked, or needs re-research based on the evidence.
Worked example
Suppose the saved row names a black, size-medium option. The old URL redirects to a relevant current page, but the visible options now show black only in size-large. The page is reachable and relevant, yet the intended selection cannot be confirmed.
Save the old URL, final URL, saved option, current visible options, check date, and the fact that medium was not observable.
Mark the row parked because selection continuity is missing. Do not rewrite the row as size-large.
Recheck the live resource later or begin fresh research for the intended option while preserving the old row history.
Exception handling
A challenge page or timeout prevents observation; it does not describe the listing. Keep technical access state separate from the content decision so a temporary failure is not mistaken for a dead row.
A parked row should say what must be checked next.
